.338 300gr Lapua Scenar Bullets

has anyone heard how this bullet is on game . By Game I mean deer,Caribou and moose sized animals they would be fired out of a 338 Edge

I've never shot the 300gr version, but Lapua Scenars generally are very tough bullets, with a jacket thicker than typical match bullets. This translates into very little if any expansion. The only type I've seen them get is deformation when they yaw or tumble.

thats dosent sound to good to me maybe I will stick with the SMK for hunting
