338 Bergers

Are these available yet? According to Litz they're coming......page 328 in his book complete with drawings and BC data. Same on page 259. What have you guys heard? When I go to Berger's website there's no mention of them (unless I'm looking in the wrong place).

I was told they'd be on the shelves last summer.

The BC's on those new bullets look incredible! If they work, they could cause a real stir!

I found this quote while searching around for more info:

"Big-bore shooters will be pleased to learn Berger hopes to release both 250gr and 300gr .338-caliber bullets by the end of 2009. While design work is on-going, Berger expects to offer tangent ogive, secant ogive, and double-radius .338 projectiles in both 250gr and 300gr weights. So you’ll have a choice of three different bullet shapes, each in two weights. That’s good news for hunters and ultra-long-range shooters."

I'm glad to hear that Berger will offer these bullets in several different shapes.....I just wish they'd have them out already. Jerry.....when these come out you're going to be a busy man.

Call me a skeptic, but Eric at Berger has been promising 300 ish gr 338 bullets for several years now.
Hopefully they do produce 300 gr 338 bullets and I live long enough to see it
