You've also never used a short action with a WSM case, nor have you loaded said cases with sleek bullets. Even Noslers/Hornadys profile in a SAUM case is more appealing than WSM for obvious reasons....

Of course if you get a properly throated chamber in the WSM then obviously we have a winner.

Merely stirring the pot.

You better hang onto those SAUM cases, someday they'll want them for a Smithsonian exhibit. :dancingbanana: Laugh2

Right beside the 25-06, 260, .225 Winchester, 6mm Rem, 7mm Express, 7 WSM, 33-08, 338-06, 358 Win, 350 RM, 358 Norma, 308 Norma, 223 WSSM, 243 WSSM, 25 WSSM, 325 WSM, blah, blah, blah....

Oh no! Brass is going to ####ing dissapear and then the rifle will be useless and wont kill animals!!!!!! cp:

Ive owned one Remington in the last year and a half. I just sold my SAUM 7mm in favour of a 270 WSM Montana :D

All i said was the SAUM doesnt give up much to the WSM but also affords more room in the mag to get the bullets closer to a 300 foot deep chamber throat.

hearing good things about this cart. who makes a rifle in it?

This is actually one of the not stupid to own large caliber cartridges as it's a short action. The ballistics are quite nice on it as well, but the mag capacity suffers a bit. I wouldn't buy one of these but I don't think it's as bad as all the other large caliber junk that does nothing a 30-06 or 300win can't do.
