.338 Lapua around Ottawa

Anyone know where you can stretch the legs on one of these within about 90 minutes of Ottawa?

IIRC there was a rumour going around last summer that they were going to be making some changes to the west side of "C" range at Connaught to allow it out to 900m, but who knows whether they would allow civilian use.

Stittsville is patterned for 338 but I'm assuming you're probably looking for more than 300y.

I was. I hope they do allow civillian use at Connaught. That would be great. If you read the range rules. There is something about gates being closed, no closer then 300m and notifying range control. Nothing about no civilian use.
