338 Lapua loads

I was thinking about your 338LI.
I think the 265's are longer than the 338Win case. :D

The 300SMK is a good one at distance (maybe the best), but is not my first choice for close stuff.
 
I tried the 225 Accubonds out of a pair of TRG-42s . A couple of times the bullet did not exit and essentially performed like a BT . Went to the Swift Scirocco 210 and they hold together much better in 338LM

Went to Barnes 225Gr Tipped TSX for a few seasons ( 225MRX and went back to the TTSX )

Current loading is w/ Retumbo / Fed 215M / Lapua Brass and Norma brass at 3200fps

This load is also very accurate in both TRG-42s. This is our go to load now for hunting purposes
