What's the barrel life of the 338 Lapua?

Whenever this question comes up, it really depends on what accurate life means to you.

A SR BR shooter will toss a barrel at 600 to 800rds and it still shoots better then most "precision" rifles.

a min of gong barrel might last 3 times what an F class shooter considers acceptable.

Decide on what accuracy means to you, read what others say, consider 60% of that estimate good.
