I wish there was a better network for HS Precision product up here......It's very nice stuff!

Ive currently have an HS precision in 300 RUM. They seam to be alot harder to find then other good quality rifles. I would consider one If I could find one.

A AI AX/AXMC 338 , or a Timberwolf .

The newer AX338 action , is really good , bolt is larger dia than the old AWM/AWSM series , and really is more like a scaled up AW 308 action in all ways , ie it runs a double feed/stack magazine 10rd .

This is my only complaint with the PGW actions. Seems like they all exhibit this at the top of the bolt rotation. Extraction with warm loads can be a real pain.

Maybe they can address that issue. Was at my local range and the ERT and marine division boys were out testing some nice toys. I know one of their big shots that has input for procurement and he said they ruled out the Timberwolf for that very reason.

I've got one with 30 rounds threw it I've been debating on selling it or not

You should consider the DTA SRS A1 if you don't have problems with bullpup design.
They are very well made and really accurate.

What did they end up choosing?

Are they running the Lapua?

I have an HTR in 338 Lapua left handed from them. HS makes some really nice stuff and there customer service was great. they are hard to find but they have a custom order page on their website.

Are you talking RCMP?

We asked about this as we have seen favourable info from the RCMP on the PGWDTI product.

I'm going to ask a very newb question here. Is the PGW based off another action or is it a proprietary design from the ground up?
