338 marlin express

has any one had any experience with this caliber???
how do you like it?
what kinda recoil does it have?
how is its range?
just any info would be appreciated

I have heard that ammo is hard to find and when found very expensive. It was invented to fill a void that wasn't there. I think it will go the way of the 307 and 356. Both are great rounds but they didn't catch on. I have a 356 and lots of brass so if you buy a 338 be sure to get lots of brass and take up reloading. Just my .02.
