.338 round for deer?

Used a 375 for deer and antelope and plan on using a 458 mag so 338 will do fine.

I don't have a 338 anything, but my experience with other calibers is to either go to a heavier bullet than you normally use, or go with the same bullet and water the load down depending on normal shooting distances.

Lightweight .338 has been my deer/ general BC hunting gun for 25+ years. They work great.
