I had one for a while and liked it.
According to the dealer I bought it from it was one of if not the first sold in Canada.
Neither loaded ammo or brass were available when I got it so I had to do a lot of searching.
The rifle was a good shooter and the only reason I parted with it was because it was somewhat redundant since I had a 338-06, a 338 Win. Mag., a 35 Whelen, and a 9.3 X 62 at the same time.
The claim at the time was that it would equal a 338 Win. Mag. and drawing from my personal experience I felt it was closer to my 338-06.
I did burn up some factory ammo for brass to reload, that is when I finally found some and I must emphasize that the factory stuff at that time was incredibly hot, blown primers, sticking cases, and nasty recoil.
However, it may all be different now.
