Really like this powder in my Rem 700 in 338 RUM for Alaska hunting !

I would really like to know how you make out with that loading. Please post your chronograph results too. I have had a terrible time getting velocity out of that bullet. I have used primarily Retumbo, H1000 and Ramshot Magnum.

CCI 250 and RP or Nosler Brass
2975 fps
I am replacing H1000 with Grand in 338 RUM with 250gr. I showed no signs of pressure at book max so theirs room to move higher in charge weight if needed. Speer GS and Nosler Part gave the best accuracy along with Hornady SP-RP.
I think you will like Ramshot Grand !

I am definitely going to have to give Ramshot Grand a chance. I found that Speer GS's blow apart at .338 RUM velocities and Hornady's don't stand a chance at all.

Grand has worked very well for me in 6mm Creed, 6.5 PRC and 6.8 Western

Definitely a good propellant, I went back and bought 6 more pounds after my early testing

Im going to try Grand in my 338 edge. Anything around 3000 fps with a 250 grain bullet will make me happy. I seem to hit pressure at around 2900 fps with other powders I have tried ( RE26, H1000, 7828) but accuracy is excellent.

Suggest a Bonded bullet like Swift A frame or Accubonds and partition

Reloader 25/26 are excellent powders for 250gr in 338 RUM.
Reloader 22 and 225 Swift A Frame makes a dandy moose load.
