Recently got my hands on a number of .338 Nosler 200 grn ballistic tips and Hornady 225 grn SST for use in my .338 RUM. Generally I shoot Sierra 250's through this rifle but figured I would try something different for deer sized animals (250's blow the hell out of deer sized animals...not to say the Noslers or Hornady's won't).
Problem is I cannot find any load data on these two bullets and do not own the Nosler or Hornady manuals (read Sierra fan).
Can anyone provide me with the load data from these two manuals or even better yet what has worked well for you with these bullets.
I would like to narrow things down somewhat as the rifle does not lend itself readily to extyensive load deveolpement
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated
Cheers

The 200 grain .338 Nosler Ballistic Tip is a VERY tough bullet. It has an extremely thick jacket and will hold together better than the SST and your 250 Sierra. A few years ago I put one through a moose length-wise from about 50 yards with my 338 Winchester. The bullet entered low on the brisket and exited out through a rear ham. Blood-shot was minimal.

I have shot a couple mule deer with the same bullet out of my 338-06 at 2850 fps. 34 calibre entry and Loonie sized exit with no blood shot, (Eat up to the holes ;) )
