.338 Win Mag/Nosler Accubond recipe

I have a Browning A-Bolt II in .338 Winchester Magnum, with a 26 inch barrel. My current accuracy load is 71.5 grains of VV N560,with a Winchester LRM primer and a Remington case, shooting a 250 Grain SGK.

I want to try Nosler Accubond 225 Grain bullets. The powders that I have on hand are the following:

VV N160
VV N560
H4831SC
H414 (same as W760)
IMR4350

According to published load data,it looks like they would all be suitable. Just wondering whether you guys have any good recipes to share using one of these powders.

I have a Browning A-Bolt Medallion in 338 win mag. I have tried 225gr. Accubonds with 71.5gr. of IMR 4350 and CCI primers. They shot reasonably well, around 2" @ 100 yards. I am now using 73.5 gr. of Reloader 19 with the 225gr. Accubonds and CCI primers. These are a bit more accurate but I am still playing with them.

The Accubonds were devastating in my 30-06 last year on deer. I hope to connect on some moose in a couple of weeks with my 338.

I have done some research and based on what I have seen, Reloder 19 does indeed seem to be the powder of choice for many people in that caliber for that bullet. As mentioned above, I was hoping to be able to use one of the powders that I have on hand and listed in my post. Also, I do not have a local source for RL-19.
 
My load with a Speer 225 grains SPBT in my Ruger 77 MK 2 is 68.5 grains of IMR 4350. 3 shots inside an inch is usually the norm at 2800+ FPS. I would also have great confidence in IMR 4831.
 
I have found RL-19 to be the ticket in my Stainless Hawkeye 338 WM.... I have never used 225 Accubonds though.... My present load is 77.3 grs of RL-19 behind a 225 gr SST, primed with Federal Magnum primers... It shoots under 1" for 3 shots at 100 if I do my part...
 
I tried RL22 and it was (for me) by far the best powder for the 338 I have found. Speed, powder, accuracy was all there for me.
 
Reloder 19 makes the 338 shine with 200-225 grain bullets.
My A-bolt Browning with the 26" tube made 3000 and pennies with the Nosler 210 and RL19.

WHOOPS! That should be 2" at 200 yards , with 225gr accubonds, 73.5gr of Reloader 19 and Magnum CCI primers
 
In view of the number of people who mentioned Reloder 19 on this and another forum, I did some research and found a local source for Reloder 19.

I have read conflicting information as to the maximum load of Reloder 19 behind a 225 grain Accubond, with figures varying from 72 to 78 grains. That is quite a span!

Does anybody know for certain what the max. load is and if you do, can you refer me to the source of the information, e.g. website or reloading manual.
 
Paco.... I went through the same headscratching when cross referencing 225 gr loads with RL-19... I started at the bottom and worked my way up in 1 grain increments and stepped down to half grain increments as I got close to the top end... With the combination that I am using, I am not seeing any pressure signs...
 
I have 2 338 WM, a Tikka T3 (23 3/8" barrel) and a custom Husqvarna with 24" Douglas premium barrel. In both cases, my most accurate load is with Nosler Accubonds 225gr and 72.3 gr H4350 over CCI 250 primers, with the bullet seated at 3.48" - about .010" from the rifling. At 200 yds my best groups are .750" and .370" respectively. I also get excellent accuracy with Barnes 210 TSX over 72gr H4350 seated at SAAMI length of 3.34"
