.338 Win Mag

I just got into reloading, bought the RCBS Rock chucker supreme kit sold by Cabela's. Been playing around with different recipes for my Remington 700 .338 win mag. So far I have gotten the best groupings with 210 ttsx barnes bullets and IMR 4831 with 67 and 71 grains of powder. I am thinking about trying 225 bullets to see if they group any better. I am just curious what others are using for their 338's.

Hornady 225gr Interlock and H4350 have worked well for me in all of my .338's

I like the 250 gr Partitions over IMR 4831 in my M70 338 most of the time. I've also used 210 gr Partitions with good luck, with both IMR 4831 and RL 19.

I have good results with 225 Partitions and 225 Hornady Interlocks with Reloader 19.

I use imr 4350 of 70g and hornady 250 g spitzer(me) and round nose(pops-old school) in ours for a velocity of 2600(22"brl).

Thanks for sharing your loads, I am going to try 225 grain next to see how they compare to the 210 grains.

73.0 grains of Reloader 19 and a Hornady 250 grain SP, 2700 f/s and groups around 1.5" at 200 yards.

I'm useing 69.5 grins of IMR 4350 under a 215 Sierra boat-tail for 2900 fps. It seems to kill moose and coyotes equally well. The rifle also shoots 225 TSXs with 4350. Its a bit finicky about what it likes.
