.338Federal ammo: where to buy?

I was looking at a rifle in 338Fed in a store at one point and immediately two other customers told me not to buy it and that it would be a huge mistake. I said I reload and can reform 308 brass and both guys visually relaxed (they looked tense while telling me not to buy it) and apologized and said it's a great cartridge if you reload. I ended up not buying it but have kept an eye out for factory ammo availability. Personally I wouldn't buy a rifle in such a hard to find cartridge unless I reloaded.
It's rare I see it online but have seen a box or two in some small gun shops in different cities in Ontario. I think SFRC had a listing for some many months ago but it's gone now. Epps usually carries all kinds of hard-to-find stuff so giving them a call is often eventful. They have a listing on their website and often have more stuff that isn't listed online.
