Well I loaded up some of my test rounds with the 93gr charge weight of H1000 with the 300gr Berger Hybrid
I had 20 shots to see what it would do.
It took me a dozen just to get on paper @ 200 yards where I was comfortable trying to get a group.
Mirage was horrendous even with magnification turned down.
Velocities were 2800 , 2813,2801,2794 and 2782 which aren't bad but could be better.
Here is the 5 shot group that wound up being my only:

It is a new rifle , it may be that it is just finally settling in after 50 shots.What does everyone think about that??
I am not 100% confident that I will continue with this combination.I may go one more crack with loads at 92,93 and 94 grains and see what happens.
If I can't muster better than what I have here now I think I will try some SMK's as I have always had good luck with Sierra bullets and less luck with Bergers.
