338LM project

i had a rifle built by Clay Spencer in Scottsville Virginia, USA.

He can build anything you want and will give you excellent advice on what works for you. Tactical, Benchrest, etc.. Excellent, world class reputation
Expect to pay around $5000 though for just the rifle.

Here's his site http://spencerriflebarrels.com/ Check the pics of his shop.

Nesika from HWSNBN would be the way to go, judging from the photos on the other site.

He's also got a 338 Lapua AI reamer waiting for another barrel.

I would be careful doing business with Nesika/Dakota as their financial future (if in fact there is one) is very uncertain.

You may also want to wait a bit as Remington is said to be releasing the .338 Lapua sometime in August. Rumor has it the price is supposed to be quite reasonable.

We recently received a shipment of Nesika Actions. I'm not sure I'd worry too much about that but as with any business venture you can never be 100% certain.

Worry more about what happens at the border and how much older you will be before you get your new USA action! LOL

How about a Surgeon action? I don't hear much mentioned about them up here.

Nesika/ Dakota is NO longer in question, the company has recently ( last week or 2) been sold to new owner, same folks work there, and they are in the process of replacing some much worn tooling.
The future is looking bright for them.

Nesika / Dakato made a factory change over last year! I guess lots of rumors pumping around...what do you do.

You could call Richard Spruill ( Sales manager) at Nesika/Dakota 605-347-4686
I am sure he could sort out your boggle, as well as give you the facts.
