Title is the requirements. Stainless synthetic is better than
wood and blued. No custom work, no aftermarket parts, must
meet the requirements listed in the title. Don't ask, it's a
corporate thing... What are the options out to fill this need?
Anyone have negative experience to offer about any of the
options? Thanks for your time.

I can only think of Browning Bar and Benelli R1 but they're semi don't recall anyone make a bolt gun in that caliber with a detach mag with iron.

Tikka make rifles in 338wm with detach mag but not sure if they have iron sight or not maybe someone will chime in with more suggestion.

for tikka yes it can be done but not sure if the synthetic barrel will be tailored by Sako to compete any of their Bears collection ....

Sako kodiak, brown bear, or bavarian.

If you want to spend more, the Sauer 202 hybrid or elegance comes with DM, sights, and in 338wm.

Yes Sauer for a 338 win mag they re making each a special run may worth the wait ....

so there is a nice choice of differents for the OP task ...

You can always lose a detachable mag.
My Model 700 Classic came with Iron Sights but they were removed.
My low cheek bones are in considerable pain following only a few shots with irons.
I often said if I could only have one rifle it would be a 338 Win Mag.

The detachable mag requirement will stay I think. Think minimal
training and multiple users.
