340 savage, 22hornet

What should this rifle weigh with scope and mount. Just bought one at the Woodstock show. Thought it was a bit heavy so I put it on the scale just about crapped !!!! 9lbs is this a normal weight. Does have a nice walnut stock but nothing out of the norm.

I have one as well and it's a hefty piece. No scope on mine either...

my 340 222rem hits the scales at just over 8 pounds with the scope on it.

I have one in 30-30 and the first thing you notice is the weight. Fantastic shooter though.
