In the past I had a .348 Winchester.Sold it.,but of late have been planing on getting another one. When I do, I would like to cast bullets for it.

Just wondering if any one has used the Lyman 350447 187 grain mold or the RCBS 348-200, 200 grain mold?If so ,what are their comments on the use of these two cast bullets?

Are you going to be getting a Winchester or Browning?
I have a Browning and the leade is a bit short for longer or heavier boolits.
I had a custom mold made for me by LBT, and I'm not sure he's still in business, or even stll alive,
I did a chamber cast and sent it to LBT and he cut and nice two cavity mold for me.
Drops right at 200 or 210 grains. Been a while since I cast any for it

The rifle I plan on getting at some point ,will be a Winchester.

Here’s some pics of what your looking for , I have used the 350319 it comes out at 173 gr with wheel weights , the 350447 comes out pretty close to 187 with wheel weights
I used the 350319 for my 351 winchester works great , but I have to try and powder coat them , I think it will be better
Haven’t got around to using the 350447 in my 348 win yet though, I see no reason why it wouldn’t work though.

Thanks for the replies .All interesting ideas. At present I have not replaced my old Model 71,so no hurry for myself getting molds, other than those I am looking for. When I replace the rifle,if I have not found the molds I really want,I will check out in more detail ,the molds you fellows have spoken of.

Thank-you for the time and insight to the Accurate and Old West molds.:)
