The ammo is still being made from time to time. Winchester lists it but hardly anybody stocks it because so very few Model 71s were sold in this country.
I have a box here that I got at a sale; I use the brass for some of the REAL old-timers.
Brass (Winchester) and bullets (Hornady or Winchester) should be available through your local gun shop. I recently ordered another 100 rounds of brass from Wolverine. It will take time but I am sure that they will get it if it is on this planet to be got. John and the guys are like that. I would suggest that you get in touch with them.
