34mm ring height question

Hey guys so ive changed things up and have gone to a 34mm tube. Ive picked up a Burris xtr ii 5-25×50

I'll be running this scope on my tikka t3x 308 with 20 moa base in a ess chassis without railed hand guard.

I was running mdt high rings with my sightron 8-32×56 but couldn't fit a front lens cap. Im assuming i can go with high rings again?

Being that you are gaining 5mm clearance (3 on the lense, 2 in the tube) You might be able to get by with mediums. Highs will certainly work.
