35 Cal Lever Action

Hows the 35 rem do on bears? Any noticable dfference than a 3030 or 32 sp?

Fingers crossed I'll let you know after spring bear season once I tag this guy with my Marlin 336 in 35Rem!!! :rockOn: :ar15:

Im waiting to find a 35whelen but ive often thought of a old 35 rem for bears. Best of luck. Im out this year for bear but next year nothing is stopping me
 
Only 358 that appeals to me is the Savage 99.

I don't see the Marlin 35 and the Browning 348 as being that different. I reload so as long as components are available I'm good to go.

Except that the .348 will drive a 200 gr bullet a good 500 fps faster than a 200 gr bullet in the .35 Remington, but if your point is that neither round is typically loaded with pointed bullets, I agree.

I never realized the .348 had that much over the 35Rem. Hodgdon lists a load over 2600fps, that is fairly impressive! Would be nice to see some LVR data on it.
