I used to buy the remington green box ammo for my Marlin 35 rem and never had a issue.

Don't be scared into not loading the 35 Rem. I have gone through hundreds of reloads and never had a problem. Hornady RN or FTX over a full load of LVR and have fun.

Yes, and if you can find some the 220 Speer FN ahead of 3031 is the real deal; accurate, very consistent and reliable expansion, and digs deep.

I pull a 220gr slug out of my back stop and was surprised how well it held up, a tough bullet for sure.

Though I can not get them to shoot well in my rifle as much as I wanted them to!
