Just picked up a Marlin 336 Lever rifle in 35 Rem . I"m looking for 200gr Hornady FTX or 200gr Sierra Pro Hunter bullet components. Or any other 200gr that would be good in a lever gun. Can anyone help locate some?.

Remington factory ammo works well. Federal shoots good but I don't like the brass for reloading.

FTX is a winner, load with LeverEvolution.

The Speer 180's are a good choice as well.

Beware, some dies will setback the shoulder a bit further than they should, has to do with SAAMI spec changes, minor BUT still a problem.

Light loads, cast or jacketed, should be avoided. Shoulder setback is an issue. Misfires will result.

For reliability, I use factory for hunting.

IMHO, for the Marlin, the 35 Rem should be a rimmed cartridge. If they took the 308 Marlin and necked it up to 35, I'd buy at least 2.

Enjoy.

I have used this guy to get all my 35 Rem bullets ht tp://nine35.ca/. I don't think it was on his website but I just emailed him and he ordered it for me. He was able to get me 300 pcs of Speer HC 220gr'ers and also a bunch of Hornady RN all at reasonable prices.
