Reloader 15 and 225 Gr. Sierra are unobtainable. Found a can of Varget and 250Gr. Hornaday bullets. Does anyone have any experience with how published loads of these powders compare? Hoping to minimize how many different loads I have to build to find a winner for moose season. Had success with the Sierras & 60Gr. of Rel. 15.

Seems pretty straightforward to me - Hodgdon provides load data for that bullet and powder. 50.0-55.0 grs Varget with the Hornady 250 gr. Work up a load that works in your gun.

My .35 Whelen was very finicky with the 250 grain bullets until I eventually got around to Varget. That proved to be exactly what it needed. My load is 55 grains with the 250 Hornady Interlock. Never tried 4320, but might since I have a pile of it.
