.35 Whelen prefit barrels

I’ll be putting together a .35 Whelen rifle as soon as I have a bit of free time. I know JC Barrels in NB does stainless prefits for Tikka, Howa and Remington actions- the three actions I prefer- but is there anyone in Canada who makes blued barrels for same?

Only sources i know for pre fits in that cartridge were Douglas and Brownells, stateside. I'm sure someone else will be along shortly with updates, though. - dan
 
Carbon steel bbls are not widely available here in Canada. Most are doing stainless as you have found out.

The last CDN made C/S bbl I bought was from Ron Smith and it was not pre-fit.
 
KS Arms does carbon steel barrels, but not pre-fits….yet. Meaning they will be sometime soon for appprox. $850 as on their website. I had them spin up a barrel for my 35 Whelen project using Model 70 action. Top notch work.
