Hey guys here is a bit of a long shot, would anyone have any loads for a 35 wsm load data.Ive tried R17 but can't get enough in case to get any speed.Im trying 200 ttsx and am thinking H4895 or maybe varget.Tks in advance Robin

Tinhorn What velocity do you think you can achieve? At 3050 fps you must be right up there pressure wise. If you feel RL17 is a too slow burning powder the next I would suggest is the next faster burning powder in the Alliant powders. That would be RL 15. Case capacity of the 358 WSM is about 1/2 way between the 350 Rem and the 358 Norma. Performance of the 358 WSM will be between the 350 Rem and the 358 Norma. The 225 gr TSX bullet has a much better ballistic coefficient (over .400 ) compared to the (under. 350 BC) for the 200 gr. The 225 can be started less than 100 fps slower than the 200 gr but with the higher BC will have a similar trajectory but will have more energy past about 150 yds.

There's no 35 WSM data on Hodgdon's site. There is one load on Handloads.com. Uses RL15 with a 225 HPBT at 2951 fps.
Buckets of data here. Read the disclaimer and add the W's. .35cal.com/ruger77_350wsm.html
For a Barnes bullet, you should contact them. Copper bullets don't fly like lead cored bullets do.

I don't know about the WSM but I get 2925 fps from a 225 AB in a 20" barrelled Mod 7 KS in 350 RM and I get 2725 from a 22" barrelled 35 Whelen with 250 Parts. One would assume the WSM should better these by 50-100 fps. I have no ejector marks or loose primers using Rem brass in both.
