My Remington 600 max COAL is 2.80 really limits the bullet choices, I was thinking of finding a Rem Model 7 in 350 mag. does anybody know what is the COAL max in a Rem. model 7 would be?

Welcome to the 350 RM club, the COL limitations in all the remingtons is similar 2.8" that includes the 700 Classic that also came in 350 RM.
I use a 350 and have not found a problem using 200 gr Hornady and 225 Partitions, using 250's will crowd thing a bit but new powders have hit the market that might give you a little more breathing room. I assume your problem is the 250's, try to use spitzers instead of boat tails since they are usually shorter than the same weight in BT's. A compromise would be something like the 225 Sierra SBT. For deer hunting the 200 Hornady SPTZ has been the cats meow for me, I have only recovered one bullet in all the deer I have taken and only because the bullet split in two and the jacket stayed in the animal.
The Model 7 has two advatages over the 600/660 and that is that it has a drop floorplate and a regular bolt handle but aside from that they are similar.
Good Luck

I have had good luck with the 220 gr. Speer FP leaves my 18.5" barrel at 2691 average of 5 shots using H4895 the problem is I can't find any more bullets sold out or on back order. I bought some 225 Nolsler Partitions but they don't have a crimping groove and the case mouth is right on the ogive of the bullet I don't want them going back into the case under recoil.
I tried seating one bullet with a heavy factory crimp exactly at 2.80" it is right on the ogive, I have heard some have removed the exposed lead tip to facilitate seating the bullets out far enough.
Another concern is if the 220 gr. was designed to be pushed this fast

Model seven is the same mag length as M600. I own two M7s/350RM and a M600 and a M660 in same chambering. I can sneak an extra .020" to make 2.820" often.
...and the case mouth is right on the ogive of the bullet I don't want them going back into the case under recoil.
If neck tension is good and you use a compressed load (usual for me) just lightly crimp on the ogive and go shooting. I've done that with no issues lots. 250s often require this too - really no biggy IME. But it really bugs some. But I do like to crimp the case mouth so no little space is left for dirt to get in - and it also aids slick feeding too.

I never considered the powder charge preventing the bullet from being pushed back into the case, in all my loads the bullet is contacting the powder problem solved!
