Well I have my first .356, and I am ready to load it, my only issue is that my lee reloading book does not contain much recipes. It does have one whit H4895 43-46 gr but not for IMR4895. I then checked the load data for .358 as they are almost twin cartridge and there is a load for both H and IMR 4895 and they are the same 43.1-49 gr.

Now I know that IMR and H are extremely similar however they are not interchangeable.

The question now is does anyone have a recipes for .356 loaded on a 200gr ftx bullet whit IMR 4895 in his book?

If not I would try to load a .356 at 42 gr and work my way up.

42 grains of H4895 is below minimum and the 2 powders are close but not the same thing. Is decidedly odd that there's little or no IMR4895 200 grain data anywhere. Although Speer #13(from a 2005 post on another forum. My Speer manual is older than that.) supposedly lists a 180 grain load and 2 on Load Data for 220's.
There is one of the "One Book, One Calibre" manuals for both the .356 and .358.
This guy(no idea if he knows what he's talking about) suggests 46 grains of IMR4895 with a 200 grain jacketed bullet. 2.590" OAL. Reduce by 10%. Add the W's.
