Hey everybody,

Anyone here reload .356 Win? If so, anyone have any info on where I can find brass and lead? Good load recipes? Dies?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can load it using .358 Winchester dies/load data as they are identical cases other than the .356 being rimmed (semi?) and the .358 being rimless.

I had no problem finding new .356 brass for mine.

I've been using a .356 for quite awhile, and use a 250gr. cast flat pt. gas check bullet for good accuracy and lots of knockdown.

356 recipes

Hey there, Speer Manual #13 has quite a few loads for the 356. I have a 356 94 and it is a great gun. Also, you can find loads at the Hornady website, tho they are only for the new pointed bullet. Hogdon also has some loads published on this great round. Winchester does still do limited runs of brass (or so I'm told by Graham at WSS in Winnipeg)so when you see some for sale its probably a good idea to pick some up. If you look around at some of the sites like Marlinowners etc. you can find some good stuff on bullet tests for the .35's. Have fun and let us know how you make out.
