357 bullets for a 9mm possible?

Can hp bullets (of an appropriate weight and configuration for semi-auto feeding) for a 357 mag be loaded into a 9mm casing? It seems revolvers have a lot more bullet selection than semi-automatics. I would have thought hollow point bullets for semi's would have been more available.

The 357 is a little fatter. might not chamber or might not have enough space to release bullet properly. Lots of bullets are made, but shelves are kinda empty right now.

Some 9mms have barrels as big as .357 or .358, making sure the loaded round chambers is another problem.

"...a lot more bullet selection than semi-automatics..." The wrong bullet shape can cause a semi-auto to have feeding issues. The loaded cartridge has to fit in a magazine too.
"...would have thought..." It's because they're expensive and there's no demand for HP's for CCW or hunting.
