That is some impressive accuracy for these reduced loads! Ty for sharing as I am on the fence about a 35 Rem I am thinking of downloading for my son.For target practice/plinking .357" dia. pistol projectile reduced loads work fine in my 35 caliber rifles ONLY same with .356" dia. CamPro plated projectiles.
Great plinking loads, don’t want to hunt with them. Shooting a few ice cream pails of plinking ammo will get you into a groove that you won’t fall out of. I tend to do it with cast bullet loads.

Shot a crap ton of both jacketed and cast .358 bullets out of a Stainless MKII Ruger in 350RM that I never should have sold.
Used to use titegroup, Bullseye, Unique or 2400 all with respectable accuracy @ 50yds.
Had a really nice load with 2400 and 158gr XTPS that even cycled through the magazine!

I have had several 35 Whelen rifles over the years and shot many 200 grain and 250 grain cast bullets (RCBS moulds) for practice and plinking and for taking several Mule deer for the freezer. Were just as accurate as jacketed and much cheaper. I did use some jacketed handgun bullets for plinking but liked the cast better.

I have shot a lot of .357 jacketed & cast 158 gr in my .35 Rem, both work very nicely...never shot any game with them but have shot a pile of Cowboy Levergun silhouette steel targets with the cast slugs.
Also make an excellent light recoil combo for the wife and another lady friend for Cowboy Leverguning.

I'd say there wouldnt be much issue..... id start lower in the charge weights and work it up...
wasnt it Weatherby? or someone, Ackley maybe? testing over sized bullets in barrels and the guns didnt blow up, pressure rises , sure, but the lead and jacket gets squeezed.
