.357 loads for the desert eagle

Hey, got a desert eagle and was looking for decent loads sure to cycle it properly, but alot of the powder manufacturers seem to have gotten nervous and all the data seems mild online.

On another guys recommendation checked out this site.

So, with my 158 grains plated bullets, he suggests 6.8 grains of bullseye, I figure I'll start with 6 to be careful.

anybody else got loads for the eagle?

That beast may want hotter loads to cycle as it is gas operated.

Look at data for Winchester 296 Powder. Full house loads are
in the 14.5 gr - 16.6gr range / magnum primer. Exit speeds are
in the 1500+ fps.

Don't shoot lead, just jacketted/plated or washed. Otherwise
the gas port might be plugged up.
