I just recently decided to get into a couple revolvers to diversify my pistol collection. I just bought a 1978 S&W Model 28 and a 1933 Colt Army Edition in .38 special. I have heard that with older revolvers you do not want to pull the trigger without ammunition or dummy ammunition in the revolver. Something to do with not having a firing pin stop or something of that nature. Does it make sense to just keep old brass in the pistol or are there good dummy rounds available? Any help finding them would be appreciated.
