I have a blued gp100, 4.2". I like it. Accurate and well made but the DA trigger pull is a bit on the heavy side. SA trigger pull is nice and crisp.

The finish on it isnt perfect. Its more utilitarian and has less "### appeal" than the Smiths but its still a good solid gun.

Is the Ruger blued? I took a quick look at one a couple of weeks ago and did not like the finish at all. It appeared to be black paint. Have not seen anything from Alfa yet; looking forward to it.

I have a blued GP-100...the bluing on it is beautiful (mind you , mine is a little older)! Trigger in SA is AWESOME!, DA is acceptable. Can't speak for the others.
