not going to buy a maximum rifle although I had one years ago and it was a lot of fun
still have over 200 new brass which I loaded with 158 grain bullets, and now wish to pass them along

is it better to

sell them through an auction house. what if no real bidders or word just does not get out to the right people

may I advertise them here as brass and bullets only. then do I take them apart with a bullet collet puller in order to ship

they are primed so do I decap them carefully. yes I have done this before just go really slow

I think they are worthwhile to the right guy but don’t want to get into trouble shipping them a ways

and yet don’t want to just dump them for 50 cents apiece

thoughts? local police won’t be of any help

not sure how to list it on the EE don’t wish to run afoul of the forum
dont want to mislead buyers, just unsure what to do to keep my trader rating intact

I'm sure you could sell them locally. Just with the agreement it's being sold as components only and not responsible for damages to your gun.

Just be clear in your ad.

200 handloads of 357Max, for components only! $200 OBO
*insert more info here if you want*
Local sale only! Can't ship due to costs of shipping ammo!

or whatever you think is a fair price.

I'd pull the bullets and sell it as primed brass and bullets. That way if some Nimrod (unlikely given the calibre, I know but...) tries to clear an obstructed bore with another round, it doesn't come back to you.
