I wanted a revolver to add to my collection, had my heart set on a python but either they were too expensive or too abused. Then I went to visit SFRC and saw a S&W 686. Bought it and love it. I shoot mostly .38 wad cutters but it is a superb handgun. I highly recommend it

There are very few people who will run down a S&W 686 after they have bought one and used it. Mostly I think the people who run them down have never owned one and used it

Save your pennies and get quality... Good used S&Ws can be had on the EE if you're patient. The quality of the older ones can't be matched!

Couldn't agree more, can't begin to imagine how many rounds have gone through my old Mod. 28.
It simply will not wear out...
