.357 Sig for M&P40 yet?

Just wondering if anyone knows if there is a .357 Sig conversion for the M&P 40 out yet. I can't seem to find anything, but I find it hard to believe there isn't one.

Yes there is one. Very easy, just buy the .357 Sig barrel from S&W (your favorite dealer), and that is it. Just drops right in. Brownells also sells the barrel so either way you can order it from a Canadian store and get it.

You can also order a barrel from Storm Lake and they'll ship it direct to you - Questar does the paperwork for you, there is an extra charge but it's pretty minimal considering the convenience.

I thought the fee was a flat rate thing at like $700.00 or something? Or is that just for a gun? If Questar could chime in...

No there is an import permit/agreement in place that allows Questar to do the imports quite reasonably, it's not like a one time special order permit. I could be wrong but I believe the charge is $50, which means they're still very reasonable for a match barrel. I met a shooter who has a 40 cal. match barrel and he said it made a huge difference in accuracy.
