Hello all,
I was wondering if the .357 Sig caliber was viable in Canada? I've done some searching here as well as other forums and dealers sites. It seems the .357 Sig is pretty rare. I'd don't mind that it's rare (I like that actually).
If I was to purchase a .357 Sig, I'd get it in a P229 with switch out .40 S&W barrel just for those times when I want to burn tons of ammo.
But, is the .357 Sig going to be a huge hassle (I know it will be a hassle, but will it be "huge" hassle)? I've seen other boards with members that have it, and say they can get ammo, but how rare and how much of a pain is it?
Btw, I live in Edmonton and can use Calgary as well for sources.
Yes, if I got it, I would plan to reload. As well, like I mentioned, I'd have a .40 for switching out too if for some reason the .357 disappeared of the face of the earth, but from all my research that isn't going to happen.
Thoughts?
Cheers.
