HI there,

I was wondering if there is such a thing? Maybe by H&R or something? ... I would love to make up ''match grade'' .357 for a single shot and see what I could do with them. I also expect a single shot .357 wouldn't break the bank...

let me know if this is just a dream or not :)

Cheers lads,
Trev

H&R did/does make a Handi-Rifle in 357 Mag --- it's not uncommon to see them rechambered to 357 Max. A number of the Italian reproduction arms makers (e.g., Pedersoli, Uberti, etc.) have made small rolling blocks in 357. I had a Navy Arms (Uberti) rolling block in 357, which was a lovely little rifle.

Another maker to look at is Thompson Center. Their Contender carbines are chambered in 357, but are hard to find up here in Canada. If you're looking for affordability, the Handi-Rifle would be your best bet.

thank you so much!

If you don't want a single shot look at the ruger 77-357 bolt gun, it shoots better and better everyday. After I slugged the barrel of mine and got some .358 diameter bullets I have .38sp loads shooting 1 hole at 70 yard and 357 around .9 of an inch at 100 yards. I'm still fine tuning loads but the gun shoots great after i found out the proper bullet size.
