.357 vs .44 mag vs .45LC

I don't own one yet, but would love a lever gun in 38/357
that way I would need only 2 guns. A revolver and a rifle.

You can have a revolver & rifle with the 44 Mag & 45LC also, good luck trying to only have 2 guns

Another vote for 44 Magnum. I have a Smith 29 and Winchester lever in 44 magnum. Love the combination. You can load light for low recoil, and even max loads do not inflict any recoil pain (even with the curved steel buttplate).

I had considered 357 mag, but since I had Dirty Harry’s revolver, I figured the lever action had to match.
