Gifted a couple boxes of these now discontinued boolits (Speer #4223). None of my books have this bullet listed but would like to load them for revolver and lever action use. Google is giving me mixed results from 15 to 17gr max using W296/H110 but its all in threads / suggested from the internet. Anyone have any published data for these projectiles?

Speer#10 160gr SP same data for H110 +[Win296]. 15gr-1178fps[1159fps]..................17gr-1332fps[1348fps]...........out of a 6" Ruger Security Six /CCI 550 mag primer

17 grains of H110 has been my go-to for years when loading pretty much any 158grn bullet. I just adjust OAL depending on the bullet. Use a magnum primer!

Everything I read so far indicates NOT to use the same loading for the 160 as the 158gr which is why I am looking for actual published data on the 160gr. I have lots of books with 158gr loadings but not the 160gr.

Lyman 47th says basically the same thing as the side note on what 4n2t0 posted. It shows 0.9 of a grain difference. start 13.7vs12.8...max 17.7vs16.8(158vs160) OAL is the same @ 1.590
