Hi I just picked up a Israel Military Industries Timber Wolf Pump action in .357 Mag. I have never seen one before. Does any one have one of these? How well does it Function? Dates of Manufacture? Quantities Manufactured? Value? Very cool little gun the stock has a breakdown feature, built on scope rail and I am A big fan of the .357 Mag Kinda bought on Impulse did a web search and did not come up with any information. ANY info would be appreciated.
THANKS, Pete....

I have owned three of them.Nice little rifle and well made. There is also a 44mag version but they are hard to find.

Had one and sold it off great little rifle functions exactly like a remington 870 shotgun same controls and feed system. It is a very accurate rifle that shoots 38's 38 +p and 357's very fast reload and holds.... ahem lots of shells. Very nice rifle made by the same people that designed the UZI so what do you expect.

Very nice rifle will impress you, with integral scope mount built in great if you want to even put on a tactical type scope for fast aquisiton of targets.

Very cool rifle, the buttstock is removed from the receiver by way of one bolt. Nice and easy to pack. I've got an old Shooting TImes (1989 I think) with an article on that exact rifle.

IIRC they were made about 1980 to 1995, no idea about numbers but they weren't really popular sellers so probably not a lot made. They were also pretty inexpensive. I'd love one of the .44 Mags to play with!

Nice pick up.

I had two. One in 357, and the other in 44. One wouldn't fire when cold. Apparently the metal that the firing pin was made from contracted so much it wouldn't hit the firing pin hard enough to set off the primer. Even the other rifle put less of a dent in the primer when cold, and was picky with certain ammo (wouldn't fire CCI when cold).

It is not currently for sale. I was just wonder if it was worth what my research suggested. I have seen them online for 600 - 1000. Mostly the 357s as there were only 1000 of the 44s made.

I am surprised I was not in a fist fight to buy it. TJ was right there. And he told me about the gun because of the name.

You will fetch more $$$ in the U.S than in Canada. Thats where I sent both mine. Around the $600 range is about right for the Canadian market.

Did you have to sign some kind of non disclosure agreement to make the buy?
:D

No Can-down. I paid 400. It is in very good condition. The original owner sold it to me and today after the sale was complete he told me he had only fired 5 rounds. The inside of the barrel still have bluing on it.

It has several safe kisses and one small handling mark.

My friend TJ would have bought it if I hadn't. Twice now he had helped me find a good deal on a gun.
