.358 Norma for deer?

With a good quality bullet you can eat right up to the bullet hole.

Heavier well constructed bullets will do the job.
There are certainly better choice of caliber, but when this is the only gun/caliber you have... Use what you got.
Hammer of Thor comes to mind.
Pictures of the aftermath are a must...well not really , but I would like to see.

Nope, it won't work. If the bullet doesn't bounce off, then it will just vaporize the deer into a cloud of red mist.

One or the other. And you can't tell which one will happen. It all depends on the range you hit it at, the bullet construction, and whether you sneek up on the deer, or whether it's all wary and adrenaline-charged.

In either case, you will not end up with a dead deer on the ground. It won't work.

Just don't use it. You'll be sorry if you do.
