.358 Norma Magnum

I have a Ruger Mk 1 .300 Win and have a yen to have rebarreled or rebored to .358 Norma. Just wondering about costs to do it and if it is even possible to do as to the bolt face , etc. ???

They share the same bolt face. You could try a .358 round in your magazine to see how it feeds... A new barrel installed with no other work will probably be in the area of $700.

Probably cheaper to just sell the Mk1 and buy a .358 Norma. Hell I would probably sell you mine since I never shoot it because of a neck problem. You could also send it to Ron Smith for a rebore last time I did that it was around $300 but it took almost 2 years to get done.
