358 vs 350 rem mag

the answer is a Whelen right
Why? The 350 is at least the equal to the 35 whelen, and exceeds it in some rifles. - dan
- A Whelen fits better in a long action than a 350 does in a short action with magazine OAL.
- Whelen factory ammo is easier to find.
- A Whelen will give you one more in the magazine.
- There are more Whelen rifles to choose from, both factory and custom.
- Whelen brass is easier to find and make
- Reloaders get a better bullet selection with the Whelen.
None of the above advantages are insurmountable for the 350, some being very minor. In the end, both are very good at what they do.
