358win vs 444marlin

I used to shoot right handed rifles, then got a old savage 110 left handed and never looked back, so it's a lever or left hand rifles from now on, I used to reload, no more time for it

Ok..... So as much I dislike budget rifles, if you don't reload, you made the better choice...... .444 and .358 are not calibers you want to be buying in factory ammo......

30-06, caliber doesn't mean much to me, when I shoulder a rifle and the the sights are right there every time means more to than power, but a 06 is a better choice if I ever get a moose tag again, plus I can buy ammo anywhere

So you are a sight In once a year, take your moose or deer, call it a day Hunter?....... If so, all good as long as you can shoot your rifle...... But why complicate this thread?...... And still struggling to understand your handle based on the info....

at one time, I would pick up a cheap Swedish mauser and proceed to wear out the barrel, usually 5000 to 7000 rounds would do it, WHEN I WORKED 40 HOURS A WEEK! now I work in the asphalt industry so between April and November I barely have time to hunt or shoot, 65 to 80 hours a week is getting old real fast
