My Hodgdon manual says a COL of 2.800" with a nosler BT.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that each gun is different as to the where abouts of the COL. Some like the bullet started into the lands and others like it set back a bit. You'll just have to experiment.

Yup the center of the Hornady Cannalure might be the simpilist and most note worthy place to start.
But they only put those thingys there for looks.
