Don't see where else to post this.

Thinking about getting out of the .375 business. Got a few on hand and quick search online seems to be anywhere up to $80/box. Would be wanting a fair price for them if I do but not wanting to look like I'm trying to rip anybody off who's in need of some. Both new in box and some loaded I would pull. Personally don't see much difference between them but that's me. 300 grain.

Anybody able to confirm or advise? Thanks.

Need to decide on your potential buyer's point of view. If I wanted .375 Accubonds (which I don't, just now), for me, that is a 4 hour drive to nearest "gun store", then 4 hour drive home, so I am more likely to pay more with postage, than someone who is 10 minutes from a Cabela's. Also, I need 10 or 20 just to do up some pressure series with a couple powders, so whether "pulled, but nearly new looking" or "new" would not matter much to me. If I already have my "pet load" and want to restock, I would probably be looking for "new" ones - but I have shot many, many of my own "pulls" to know that me and my rifles can seldom tell the difference. Others may view the situation differently.

Pictures would help, especially of your pulls. There are pulls that I get with an RCBS collet puller that only show the odd scratch mark from when they were inserted into the original load. There are pulls I have seen that were "pulled" with a serrated jaw pliers, and some with a side cutter. What they "look" like is very different. I do not know how they actually perform, so long as the serrations and divots are symmetrical??

Buyer and seller need some sense of postage cost as well. Right now I have 100 x 300 grain + 100 x 270 grain + 50 x 375 H&H brass in the mail from here in Manitoba to Central B.C. That parcel weighed 4.8 kg (10 1/2 pounds), and cost $34 to go. My old pick-up will not likely do the 8 hours driving for $34 of gas, so likely part of "cost" of living where I chose to live. But could be a "deal breaker" for others...

Shipping is definitely something the buyer would have to calculate into his cost to decide if it's worth it to him.
Didn't have much joy finding a price for these particular bullets. As stated store cost seemed to be about $80/50 and I don't recall what I did pay for them. Not looking to take advantage of anyone and not presently inclined to give them away.

The 300gr NAB is $95-99 @ most places + tax. On the EE they should sell fairly quick for $150 shipped per hundred. Pulled ones won't be worth as much to me

OP, you have not mentioned exactly how many you are considering to sell - a "few" - if it is like 10 or 12 bullets, do not expect to receive the price per piece or demand, as if you were selling 100 or 200 of them in one go. But it is a market - maybe there is that "one guy" that wants just 12 of them? You just need to find him!!

Realistically, unless things are priced right, they wont sell on the EE.

These are currently $84 a box at Prophet River. I usually wait for their free shipping/no tax sale (a few times a year) and make shipping/tax a moot point.

For anything close to new price, i'll buy new.

As todbartell posted, $150 shipped (for two NEW boxes) would be the very most i'd expect to sell them for. Expect shipping to be around $20 or so. I'd suppose they'd be listed for few weeks until the right buyer came along.

And even then, they're not hard to find and in stock at a few retailers.

$79.99 at Ellwood Epps, personally if I was buying them used and new condition, Id want about a $10 discount per box. If pulled, theyre worth half price to me. My opinion is list them for trade to get something you currently need.

So, walking into the Elwood Epps store, that $79.99 retail price plus $10.40 Ontario HST (13%) would become $90.39 for a box (of 50?) Less $10 "discount", would be $80.39. If in Alberta, from Elwood Epps, would be $83.99 after 5% GST, plus $20 (?) to mail, so $103.99. Less $10 "discount" would be $93.99. Not much getting around retail taxes and/or shipping, for most of us - Steyr101 suggestion above is one of the few strategies to use. Some of us occasionally get "free shipping" promos from Cabelas.ca with no minimum purchase, which is another option, but still going to be paying the GST and PST on that purchase...

I said what I personally would pay for a sealed box from a random guy off the internet. Not to mention that you neglected to factor in shipping from a private sale. So to clear up my meaning:
I would pay $70 for a box of sealed accubonds IF shipping from him was no more than the shipping from a retail location. What you are willing to pay is YOUR business.

I like to trade for something I need when it comes to projectiles, as each person covers the cost of their own shipping to trade what they dont need into what they want. It works out well for both parties.

These types of posts always end up like this.

OP wants to get maximum return on stuff he no longer needs so he throws out a post like this to gauge the market.

Generally, the answers he gets indicate the market will give him less than he had hoped, cause as buyers we all like a good deal if buying used. Shipping usually kills the deal.

In the end, the seller will usually post for next to new prices, it'll sit for a few weeks, until he drops his price or accepts an offer. Or, he'll listen to the advice given and it'll sell within an hour.

Life goes on.

I've given away quite a lot of stuff, including paying for shipping out of my own pocket. NOT gauging the market, trying to confirm that a new box is $80 (average of the couple prices I did find) so I can choose what appeats to be a reasonable price in relation to that. And based on what was posted, it seems so. Be a bit disconcerting to ask $60 and then find that is what a box in the store normally costs.

On the other hand, I'm not out any more money to throw them in the trash.
